News update:

December 21, 2007. Suggestion area is down due to server software update issues. Please send suggestions by e-mail to neuromab@ucdavis.edu. Remember to include a statement as to the importance of these reagents to the national neuroscience community, and the availability and suitability of existing polyclonal and/or monoclonal antibodies. Also include a list of reagents (synthetic peptides, fusions proteins, full-length cDNAs for transfection in mammalian cells, samples from knockout mice) that will be made available to the NeuroMab staff to facilitate the development and characterization of these NeuroMabs.

November 21 2007. Results of comprehensive immunoblot analyses of efficacy and specificity of NeuroMabs in rat, mouse and human brain added to data sheets, beginning with those for K13/31 (anti-Kv1.4), K14/16 (anti-Kv1.2), K64/15 (anti-SAP97), K57/1 (anti-Kv4.2), K75/41 (anti-Kv4.3), N10/7 (anti-Cavb4), N16B/8 (anti-Kv3.1b), N18/30 (anti-Chapsyn-110), N39B/6 (anti-Git1), N39B/49 (anti-Git1), N46/30 (anti-ADAM22), N57/2 (anti-ADAM22), N59/20 (anti-NR2B), N59/36 (anti-NR2B) and N71/37 (HCN2). More will be added soon.

September 17 2007. One more NeuroMab (anti-ataxin-1 11NQ (N76/8) has passed the ultimate validation test, yielding no detectable signal on samples from knockout mice. Together with previous validations (anti-Kv1.1: K20/78; anti-Kv1.3:L23/27; anti-Kv2.1:K89/34;anti-Kv3.1b: N16b/8; anti-Kv4.2:K57/1; anti-Kv4.3: K75/41; anti-Kvb2:K17/70; anti-Slo1:L6/60; anti-Caspr:K65/35; anti-Caspr2: K67/25; anti-Pick1:L20/8; anti-PSD95:K28/43; anti-GluR2:L21/32; anti-Chapsyn-110:N18/30; anti-SAP102:N19/2; anti-DLX1: L43/40; anti-SAP97: K64/15; anti-NR2B: N59/20 and N59/36; and anti-HCN1:N70/28) NeuroMab is now 21-for-21 in knockout validation assays. See data sheets for examples of knockout data.

January 5 2007. Brain Maps.org and NeuroMab.org team up. Whole rat brain staining for NeuroMabs K55/7 (anti-KChIP1) and K60/73 (anti-KChIP2) is now available on the Brain Maps.org website here. NeuroMab staining in monkey brain is also presented: Macaca mulatta (here), Macaca fascicularis (here) Callecibus moloch (here).
